How I overcame my addiction
I have been clean for 6 months now, and I now have 3 children and and a husband that understood my addiction. I was an heroin addict since 16 of age and now I'm 42. Ive been in several treatments, and nothing was working. So one day I seen Kenyada walking by, and I over heard her conversation about helping the community with substance use addiction. We spoke for bout 30 minutes, and she has win me over. I got into living in balance recovery services, and I'm still in recovery as of today.

After treatment I stayed connected with my RSC worker, and case manager. I got my family involved, and most of all, I kept God first.
